And this could possibly be the best piece of evidence Progressives need for gun control. In the video, you'll see a pretty "poppin'" bar where a large group of people are having a good time. Out of nowhere, a bar fight erupts and, a few moments into it, a gun fight begins. See it for yourself:
For me, this is the best case for gun control reform. No one should be able to bring a gun into public places, unless you are an officer of the law. There's no reason for it, and there's especially no intelligent reason to have one on your person while you are drinking.
Drunk driving is bad. Drunk shooting is worse. Neither should be tolerated.

Actually, old mate, it's already a law that firearms are forbidden in places where alcohol is served, so it's not like a law-abiding citizen was bringing a gun legally into a bar, and it's not like the law was creating that situation. He broke the law bringing the gun to the bar and then broke it again drawing the piece. Which makes him a criminal, and we've seen only too often that criminals ignore gun control laws anyway.

As long as places like Litchfield exist, rednecks exist, and therefore there will be hunting and drinking.
That is what rednecks do- they drink and they hunt.
They will drink while they hunt, and (according to this video) they hunt while they drink.
You liberals are all about your fancy science and natural selection, since your health care can't kill off the idiots who hurt themselves without a way to pay for it, we need ways such as this to thin out the herd, and raise our countries average IQ.

This is actually not true. It goes by a state-by-state basis. For instance, in Arizona, the legislature just allowed citizens to carry guns in bars. Find it here:

To be honest, If I ever ended up in a bar like that, I would take a gun to keep myself from turning into a bloody pulp...
Well shit, we all knew the West was crazy. I would actually be in favor of some sort of universal, comprehensive, all-encompassing laws dealing with weapons. Seriously. Ever tried to find laws concerning weapons? It's a bloody nightmare.
But the VAST MAJORITY of states consider packing heat in bars to be a VERY SERIOUS offense. Arizona and a few others happen to be an exception. I don't think this calls for gun control - I think it calls for those states to catch up with existing laws.
